旁白：Once upon a time, there was a queen. She had a pretty daughter
named Snow White. Soon after the child was born, the queen died. The queen married another queen. The stepmother was very jealous. She dressed Snow White in rags and forced her to do the housework all day and all night, such as sweep and mop the floor, do some cleaning, carry water and so on.
白雪：( Sweep and mop the floor, do some cleaning, carry water and so on.)
皇后：I’m the new queen. I’m very beautiful. you see. If anyone is more
beautiful than me, I’ll kill her. I have a magic mirror. If I want to know something, It will tell me surely.
Now, mirror, mirror, come here!
魔镜：Yes, I’m coming. Your Majesty! What do you want to know?
皇后：Mirror, mirror, on the wall.
Who is the fairest of the all?
魔镜：Yes. Your Majesty!
You are the fairest of all, I think.
But there is a young lady.
She is as white as snow, as red as rose and as black as ebony.
She is much more beautiful than you.
皇后：She is much more beautiful than me?
Who is she? Tell me quickly.
魔镜：Yes. Your Majesty!
She is Snow White.
皇后：Snow White? No, I’m the most beautiful in the world. Oh, hunter,
come here, come here!
猎人：Yes. Your Majesty! I’m here now.
皇后：Hunter! Take Snow White to the wild forest to pick some flowers.
Find a lonely place and kill her.
猎人：But she is the princess. …
皇后：No, Kill her. Bring her heart to me. I don’t want to see her any longer.
猎人：Yes. Your Majesty!
皇后：Here is a box. You must put her heart in it and bring it to me.
Otherwise, I will punish you.
猎人：Yes. Your Majesty!
白雪：( Pick some flowers. )
Oh! How many flowers! How beautiful!
猎人：( Draw his Knife slowly but hesitated )
Oh! My God! She is so lovely and pretty! I can’t! I can’t kill her!
白雪：( Cry exhaustedly)
What are you doing? What’s the matter? Why do you kill me?
猎人：Your Majesty! I’m very sorry. Someone wants me to kill you.
白雪：But who?
猎人：The queen.
白雪：The queen! But why?
猎人：You are more beautiful than her. So she wants to kill you.
白雪：My dear hunter. Don’t kill me. I will run into the forest and never come back again.
猎人：Ok. Run away, the poor child. The wild beasts will soon eat you.
白雪：Thank you, my dear hunter.
旁白：At this time, a young bear was running by. The hunter shot it and took the heart to the queen. Snow White began to run into the wild forest until it was almost evening. She saw a little cottage.
白雪：Oh, my God! The queen can’t find me now, I think. How I am tired! How I want to have a rest! Ah, here is a cottage, there are seven small beds. They must be the beds of seven children. Here are their names: Doctor, Happy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, Grumpy, Dopey.
Oh, how I want to sleep!
旁白：When it was dark, the owners of the cottage came back. They were seven dwarfs. They were digging treasure in the mountain.
老学究：I’m the Doctor. I know a lot of things.
开心果：I’m the Happy. I’m the happiest person in the world.
喷嚏精：I’m the Sneezy. If I sneeze, the earth will shake.
害羞鬼：I’m the Bashful. I’m a shy man.
老顽固：I’m the Grumpy. I’m not so easy to believe a stranger. The next one
is Dopey. He can’t talk like us.
老学究：Look, the lamp in our house is on!
开心果：Who is it?
喷嚏精：Perhaps it’s the ghost!
瞌睡虫：Let’s go into our cottage silently.
害羞鬼：Oh, someone has cleaned our house.
老顽固：Perhaps it’s the witch.
旁白： When Dopey was holding the candle and let the light fall on little snow-white. They all cried out with astonishment.
老学究：What a lovely child!
开心果：How beautiful!
喷嚏精：Who is she?
瞌睡虫：Don’t wake her up.
害羞鬼：Why is she coming here?
老顽固：Kill her.
白雪： ( Wake up )
What a nice sleep! Oh, who are you? Oh, I know. You are Doctor, Happy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, Grumpy and Dopey.
七矮人：But why are you in our house?
白雪：The queen, my stepmother wants to kill me. So I ran to your house. Don’t drive me away. Let me stay with you.
老学究：If you take care of our house.
开心果：If you do some cooking for us.
喷嚏精：If you make the beds for us.
瞌睡虫：If you do some washing, you can stay with us.
害羞鬼：But you must be careful.
老顽固：Don’t go out. Don’t let anyone come in. Your stepmother will find you and kill you.
白雪：I know. I know. Thank you.
旁白：From then on, Snow White kept the house. When the seven dwarfs came back, she had everything prepared. On the other hand, when the wicked queen ate the heart, she took out the mirror and asked.
皇后：Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of all?
魔镜：Your Majesty! You are the fairest of all. But Snow White is still alive and well. She lives with the seven dwarfs. No one is more beautiful than she.
皇后：No! Snow White must die. I must finish her even if it costs my life.
旁白：The queen made a poisonous apple and dressed herself like an old woman. She came to the cottage .
皇后：Good things to sell. Pretty things to sell. Cheap. Very cheap.
白雪：Hi, good day, my good lady. What do you sell?
皇后：Apples. Very delicious apples! You can have a taste. This one, please!
白雪：OK! Thank you!
( Having a small piece, dead )
皇后：Now I’m the most beautiful in the world.
旁白：When the seven dwarfs came from work. They were greatly surprise to see Snow White dead
七矮人：What’s the matter?
老学究：Snow White is dead.
七矮人：Oh, my God! Who did it? It must be the wicked queen. Now let’s pick some flowers and place around her
旁白：Although Snow White had been dead a long, long time. She looked as if she was living. She looked as white as snow, as red as rose and as black as ebony. However, one day, it happened a prince came to the seven dwarfs’ house. When he saw Snow White, he fell in love with her.
王子：Please, let me have Snow White. I love her. I want her to be my wife.
七矮人：Ok! Carry Snow White with you to your palace. Be sure to be kind to her.
王子：Yes, I will.
I will love you forever, my dear! ( Kiss her.)
旁白：As soon as the prince kissed Snow White, Snow White came to her life, as was written in the magic book of the wicked queen.
白雪：Oh, my heaven! Where am I? What had happened?
王子：You are with me, my dear. I love you. I love you more than everything in the world. Please be my wife, will you?
白雪：Yes, I will, my dear!
七矮人：Oh! Congratulations! Congratulations!
旁白：The prince took Snow White to the palace. Their wedding was held with great show
白雪：Good Bye!
七矮人：Bye-bye!

白雪、王子：Thank you.

( At an old temple lie some wounded soldiers. D is examining their wounds.)
D: Good evening, everyone.
Ws: ( Together) Good evening, Dr Li.
D: Hello, let me examine you.
W1: I’m all right. There’s no need to do so. ( W1 is about to fall down.)
D: (Helps him up) Your leg discloses you! Let me have a look. Ah, it’s going worse. Let me put some
medicine on you.
W1: No, it isn’t necessary. There is little medicine left. Go to look after that young man. He has a high
fever. He seems fainted.
D: ( Takes W2’s temperature. ) So he has! He needs an injection but we have none. Feed him these last three pills with warm water. What else can I do? There’s no medicine left.
W3: Don’t worry, Doctor. I am young and strong. I am all tight now. I’ll go and buy some medicine.
D: No, you are not all right. Your leg will bleed when you move. Lie down and have a good rest.
W4: So you can let me go . I can run very fast. The enemy cannot catch me.
( Just then, Xiao Fei comes in.)
X: Be quiet everybody. You must have a good rest. This is order, you know.
W1: But there’s no medicine left.
X: That’s why I’m here. I’ve come to fetch the list . I’ll go to town to buy medicine.
D: Have you got any money?
X: No.
D: ( Takes off her gold ring.) Take this with you. Perhaps you can change it for medicine.
X: No, I can’t take it , because it is given to you by your future husband who gave up his life to the revolution a few days ago. It mustn’t go to other people’s hands.
D: But how can you get the medicine without money?
X: Don’t worry. I’ll manage. Goodbye.
D and Ws: Be careful!
Scene2
( Music) ( Xiao is walking on the way like a businessman. He sings as he goes.
When he Passes a corn field, he sees He Zhenwu the Japanese spy robbing a woman)
W: Help! Help!
H: You needn’t cry. There’s nobody else here. Let me marry you and make yourself noble.
W: You Japanese spy! No one will marry you.
H: Otherwise I’ll kill you! ( He raises his gun and the woman catches hold of his wrist . They start a fight. Finally, H knocks W down. Just then X arrives)
X: Stop! Don’t bully Chinese woman!
H: It’s none of your business! Go away.
X: I would rather stop you. ( H raises his gun towards X. X kicks it away. They begin a fight. W puts on his clothes W and begins to pull H’s leg. X knocks H down)
X: (To W) Quick! Help me tie him up.
W: You are bleeding. Let me do first aid.
X: It doesn’t matter. Pull him into the corn fields.
H: Please spare my life. I won’t do that again
( W takes up the gun and is about to shoot.)
X: Don’t do that. If the Japanese hear the shot, they’ll come.
H: Thank you, sir. But please let me go.
X: Let you go? You’ll continue to kill and bully Chinese! ( X puts his socks into H’s mouth.) Wait here . And lend me your pass and bike. Don’t try to run away. (They go down.)
Scene 3
(Music) (X is riding a bike toward town. He sings as he goes along)
J1 and J2: Stop! Show me your pass.
X: Here you are!
J1 & J2: ( After reading it.) Hi! Salute. ( They Salute.) ( X goes through the town gate and after some time stops at a drug shop and knocks at the door.)
S: Who’s it?
X: It’s me, a customer.
S: (To O1) Go to answer the door.
O1: come in, please. You are the only customer for these days.
S: What can I do far you?
X: ( Hands him the pass.) We Japanese assistant soldier need some medicine. Here is the list.
S: Oh, so much medicine! Do you have enough money?
X: We’ll send you the money in a few days’ time. Quick, this is order. ( Shows him his gun.)
S: All right! All right!
S: ( To O1) Quick! Give him the medicine
O1: All right . ( Hands it to X.) Here you are.
X: I have to go now. Bye-bye.
S: ( To O1) Quick! Close the door.
O1: All right. ( He closes it.)
S: ( Makes a telephone call.) Hi! This is No1 Medicine Shop. Just now, a man came in and took a lot of medicine away. Perhaps he belongs to the Eighth Route Army . Stop him, quick!
( X rides his bike fast. Soon he arrives at the gate, J1 is receiving a phone call. J2 signs him to stop. X rides towards him and knocks him out. J1 begins to short at him. Soon he arrives at a bridge, where two soldiers stand . X kills them with two shots. A crowd of soldiers rush towards him. He run into the corn field. H has just frees himself and is about to leave.)
J3: Oh, here he is!
js: (Together) Don’t move! Hands up!
H: I’m sorry. I’m not Eighth -----
J4: Tie him up. ( They tie him up and beat him.)
H: Ouch! I belong to Japanese army.
J5: Don’t listen to him. He’s lying. Put him in our car. Let’s go. (They go down.)
X: (X goes through the corn field and comes up to a street. He meets some Japanese and fights them. He kills some of them and enters a lane. Finally he arrives at the temple. D and Ws come to welcome him)
D: Here comes our hero.
Ws: Congratulations.
X: Thank you, everybody.

Hello, everybody here. This is a story about Diao-chan.
Now I want to introduce all the characters for you.
The first role is Diao-chan, the female hero in this play.
This is Wang-yun, Diao-chan’s father. And our lovely soldier.
A brutish man, Dong-zhuo. The last is the greatest fighter
in our
story, Lyu-bu, General Lyu.
Now let’s begin our story.
[演员、讲解员回到幕后]
(Curtain up)
[幕拉开，灯光不开，同时我们的Storyteller 开始道来]
Storyteller: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls，now come along and enjoy my show. Today I’m going to tell you a story-- A story about Diao-chan, a marvelous beauty; a story about love; a story about hate, and a story about loyalty and betrayal.
[说到这里，幕已全开。然后后灯打开，从观众角度来看可以看到黑色
的人影]
Some 1500 years ago, it was the last regime of the Han Dynasty. At a quiet late midnight, Wang-yun, the Prime Minister of the time, was worrying about the future of his country.
Act 1
地点：王允家
人物：王允，貂禅
SCENE 前灯打开，观众角度可以看到舞台上的一切。音乐响起，伴随着《三国演义》的主题歌，王允在来回踱着步哀叹。
Wang-yun: 心理独白 Now those ambitious courtiers started to scramble for power, profit and influence.
Wang-yun: But there’s nothing I can do because of Dong-zhou’s
adopted son, Lyu-bu. He is the greatest fighter ever since
and will protect his father! Oh my lord, what am I going to do?
(说完王很心痛得走，貂禅出现，双手合十，默默祈祷）
Diao-chan: (Sigh) [My lord, please help my father out.
[王允听到了声音,循声而去. ]
Diao-chan: since I was three my father Wang-yun had treated
me just like his own daughter! It’s time for me to repay
his kindness. And, and…
Wang-yun: (王允走了一圈，发现貂）What are you doing ,my dear?
Diao-chan: Well… I have an idea about how to kill Dong-zhou.
Wang-yun: Oh, That’s great! But……
Diao-chan: But Daddy, that is the only way!
Wang-yun: But……
Diao-chan: [Diao-chan nods her head, with a firm and determined expression on her face.] Don't worry! Just trust me.
Dad. Let’s get the whole thing started.
Wang-yun：[深深吐了一口气，缓缓地道出]O---K
(灯光暗后复亮，表示场景的转换)
Act 2
地点：王允家
人物：王允，貂蝉，吕布，董卓，士兵
Storyteller: And according to Diao-chan’s plan, Wang-yun has invited both Lyu-bu and Dong-zhou separately to his house.
SCENE 灯光亮起。At Wang-yun’s home. A wooden Chinese table is set in the middle of the stage; some Chinese wine pots and
small wine cups are on it. Also, two wooden chairs are placed
next to it. Wang-yun talking to the servant with anxious
Wang-yun: What time is it?
Servant: It's eight.
Wang-yun: It 's time for his coming. Have a look!
Servant: Yes sir. Oh, Sir, General Lyu is at the door.
Wang-yun: Hurry, my dear. Lyu-bu is already here.
Diao-chan: Don’t worry about me. Let me go inside and prepare myself, OK? [She walks in.]
[她进去了。同时，响起butterfly乐曲，貂跳起了跳舞毯,
作为热身准备的交代。]
Wang-yun: [To the servant] Let him in.
servant: Yes, sir. [The servant goes out and leads Lyu-bu in]
Wang-yun : [觉得BUTTERFLY的声音太响，不堪忍受回头说了句]Oh,
My dear, turn down a bit.
[音乐转轻至停止]
Lyu-bu: [Walk towards Wang-yun and hug him] Long time no see, Mr. Wang. How have you been these days?
Wang-yun: Fine, thank you. Please take a seat. In fact,
the main reason why I invited you today is that my daughter, Diao-chan, has been an admirer of you long time ago.
She would really love to see her hero. I was wondering weather you would like to meet her?
Lyu-bu: Definitely! I’m delighted to do so.
Wang-yun: Diao-chan, Diao-chan…
Diao-chan: [Walks out from the painted screen.
Using her sleeves to cover her face,
pretending to be shy.] Yes, Daddy.
[Diao-chan 以一个漂亮地步子走上前，看到Lyu-bu 害羞地低下头。
王允开始介绍]
Wang-yun: This is my daughter, Diao-chan.
And this is General Lu, the greatest fighter in the world!
Diao-chan: [Putting her sleeves down.] Nice to meet you, General! I’ve admired you for a long time, a man full of
power and grandeur!
Lyu-bu: [Shocked by her beauty.] Uh…Wang-yun,
this is your…your daughter? Of course,
you see. How lovely she is! And how deep I am in love
with her just at the first sight!
Diao-chan: [躲到父亲的身后] Thank you for your compliment, General Lu.
Wang-yun: Lyu-bu, since you are in love with Diao-chan,
then I now betroth my daughter to you! What do you think?
Lyu-bu: [心不在焉]Pardon?
Wang-yun: Marry.
Lyu-bu: (激动万分)Oh,Really? That would be my greatest
pleasure! Thank you so much! I will go and prepare
for the wedding,
and will be back soon!
[He looks at Diao-chan and reluctantly left from the right.]
[吕布回去，王允和貂禅对话]
Wang-yun: [Making sure that Lyu-bu has left, looking very relieve.] Thanks God that things are going fine!
Diao-chan: [Smiles at her father.] Yeah…So far so good!
Wang-yun: But dear, I can’t stop worrying about you.
Here you are. In case you are in dangerous.
[给刀子]
Diao-chan: [突然听到有人来了]Hush…I heard someone coming.
I shall stay behind the painted screen right now.
[She walked behind the screen.]
Soldier: His highness Dong-zhou enters
[Dong-zhou 抬着头。傲慢地走进来。王允被吓倒地]
Wang-yun: Welcome! Welcome! Almighty Mr.
Dong! It’s my greatest honor to invite you to my humble
house! Please come in and take a seat.
Dong-zhou: No. This is my name card.
Please call me Dr.Richard Dong. I have graduated in School
of Business and Economic in ECUST，received Doctor degree
[拿出毕业文凭，大笑]
Wang-yun: Oh…yes! So great! By the way, Mr. Dong,
my daughter Diao-chan would like to perform a dance for you. What do you think?
Dong-zhou: Sure! Why not!
[Diao-chan跳舞而出，响起‘至少还有你’，然后演貂禅的演员跳起一段民族舞蹈，相信可以让大家心旷神怡。]
[舞罢]
Dong-zhou: [Applauds happily] Charming! Absolutely charming!
Diao-chan: Thank you, Mr. Dong. I am glad that you enjoy my performance.
[迎上，董卓赠于她一块玉佩]
Thank you. You have always been a hero in my heart.
Dong-zhou: [Very glad] Really? Come here!
[Diao-chan approaches him and Dong-zhou gives her a closer look.]
Dong-zhou: You are such a beauty, my dear.
Wang-yun: Do you really think so? What if I dedicate her to
you as a token of our respect? I believe that it must be her
dream to be at your side and to serve you.
Dong-zhou: Wonderful! [Turns to the soldiers] Soldiers take
Diao-chan back to my residence and provide her whatever she needs. Her beauty deserves all the best! [倒上桂林三花酒]
[Turns to Wang-yun] Cheers! For your beautiful daughter!
Wang-yun: Cheers!
[Diao-chan walks away with the soldiers while Dong-zhou and
Wang-yun keep chatting and drinking.]
(灯光暗后复亮，表示场景的转换。背景道具变化，表示场景的较大变化)
Act3
地点：董卓安置貂禅的别院
人物：吕布，士兵，貂禅，董卓
Storyteller: Filling himself with anger and fury, Lyu-bu goes directly to his father’s residence, searching for Diao-chan.
灯光亮起
SCENE At Dong-zhou’s residence.
A huge pavilion is at the right of the stage,
with a horizontal inscribed board saying “Dong’s Pavilion”
hanging on it. Around the pavilion are some plants and
Chinese garden settings. A soldier stands at the right
of the stage. Diao-chan sits in the pavilion,
reading peacefully.
[Lyu-bu rushes out of the stage.]
Soldier: Sorry, General Lu. Miss Diao is now in the garden.
No one can go in to disturb her. It is Mr. Dong’s order.
Lyu-bu: Get out of my way! I need to see Diao-chan!
[拿出一包银子]
Soldier: Ok.[吕布进]
[士兵走到一旁满足的笑笑。吕布气势汹汹冲到貂房里。貂哭]
Lyu-bu： My dear. Don’t cry. Tell me. What had your father
done to you?
Diao : He forced me to stay here with him. A soldier is
always out there to prevent me from escaping.
[吕布愤怒的看看士兵，走上前，一推]
士兵[倒地]：ahh. You have destroyed me.
Lyu-bu: shut! [拿出了又一包银子给他]
Soldier： I must see my doctor at once.[走开]
貂[哭着]：I know that he is your father, and I know that I shouldn’t tell you about his terrible acts. But ……
Lyu-bu [火冒三丈]：It’s all right. Don’t blame yourself.
In fact I never know that man whom I called father is
such a brutal animal!
Dong-zhou已在身后，冷笑：Who is such a brutal animal?!
Lyu-bu退后三步
(灯光渐渐变暗直到看不见为止. Lyu-bu walks out slowly from the right of the stage, 灯光只打在他身上)
Lyu-bu：（心里） [Looking troubled, with a sword on his hand]
To be or not to be, that is always the question. On one side,
it is my own father, but the other, my dearest lady.
(响起“左右为难”高潮段音乐，“一边是友情，一边是爱情”) Oh, Lord! What should I do? Dong-zhou is so brutal and heartless, but he is my father after all! I can’t kill him.
[Puts down the sword] But, what about Diao-chan? I can’t live without her! She is so helpless under Dong-zhou’s control.
I must save her. Yes, I must save her, despite of anything!
[He draws out the sword again]
(灯光全部打开，照亮整个舞台)
Lyu-bu: Father, I want Diao-chan back.
Dong-zhou: No way. She belongs to me.
Lyu-bu: But I love her! I want her to be with me, despite
of anything!
Dong-zhou: Never. She is mine!
Lyu-bu: [Charges Dong-zhou with the sword] Then, this is
what you deserve![刀刺向董卓]
Dong-zhou: What are you doing, my son? Don’t be foolish…
Auh…(Be killed by Lyu-bu.)
Lyu-bu: [His hands shaking] I…I have killed my own father!
I have killed my own father. …What have I done?
[ 他重重地蹲了下去，垂头丧气。灯光变得很昏暗，
只有追光灯打在他身上]
Diao-chan： General Lyu.
[Lyu-bu听到Diao-chan的声音，突然抬起头。]
Diao-chan： Let’s go. Leave away from here.
Lyu[沉思片刻,使他此感中走了出来]: Yes, my dear.
[Lyu-bu走到Dong-zhuo跟前重重地踢上一脚，然后和Diao-chan
慢慢地小步离去，
舞台上剩下Dong-zhuo的尸体和Lyu-bu & Diao-chan 的背影。
Introducer (背景音乐起)：After Dong Zhou’s death,
the turbulent
country had restored into a peaceful lank.
Diao Chan, the matchless beauty, the plain slave-girl.
She sacrificed her own happiness for the best of her country.
And gained her position in the Man-controlled era.
Today, we still remember the love story of Lyubu and Diao-Chan,
not for its sincerity, its heartbreak effect. But for its
concern with the future of the country .We extol Diao-Chan ,
noras much she was one of the 4-beauties of Ancient China as

S: Hello, do you know me? No? Oh, let me tell you .I’m the famous candy salesman at the school gate. My candies are very popular,(展示)，I don’t know why. The foolish students always come here. I’ll be a boss soon! Candy, money, candy, money……
Oops! It’s time to make candies now.(看表)
First, put the flour on the table.
Then, water, sugar, flour.(边说边做)

(Scene 2: When Harry enters his bedroom, the house elf Dobby is waiting for him who warns him that under no circumstances is he to return to Hogwarts, where a great danger is waiting for him.)
Dobby: (Jumping up and down on Harry\'s bed) Nah hah! Whoo hoo hoo! (Seeing Harry) Harry Potter! Such an honour it is!
Harry: Who are you?
Dobby: Dobby, sir. Dobby, the house elf.
Harry: Not to be rude or anything, but this isn\'t a great time for me to have a house elf in my bedroom.
Dobby: Oh. Oh, yes, sir. Dobby understands. It\'s just that, Dobby has come to tell you... it is difficult, sir... Dobby wonders where to begin.

Draco Malfoy: Look everyone. Weasley\'s got himself a Howler!
Colin: Go on Ron, I ignored one from my gramps, once. It was horrible!
Howler: (Mrs. Weasley yells) Wild Weasley! How dare you steal that car! I am absolutely disgusted! Your father\'s now facing an enquiry at work, and it\'s entirely your fault! If you put another toe out of line, we\'ll bring you straight home! (Sweetly) Oh, and Ginny, Dear. Congratulations on making Gryffindor. Your father and I are so proud!
(Ron sits stunned, and the Howler smashes itself into pieces.)
(Scene 5: In Hogwarts, strange things start to happen. People are becoming petrified, and no-one knows what is doing it. The students are told the story of the Chamber of Secrets.)
Professor McGonagall: Yes, Miss Granger?
Hermione: Professor, I was wondering if you could tell us about... the chamber of secrets.
Professor McGonagall: Very well. Now you all know, of course, that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the four greatest witches and wizards of the age. Godrick Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. And three of the founders 18)coexisted quite 19)harmoniously. One did not.
Ron: Three guesses who.
Professor McGonagall: Salazar Slytherin wished to be more 20)selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed magical learning should be kept within all magic families; in other words, purebloods. Unable to sway the others, he decided to leave the school. Now, according to legend, Slytherin had built a hidden chamber in this castle known as the chamber of secrets. Though shortly before 21)departing, he sealed it, until that time when his own true 22)heir returned to the school. The heir, alone, would be able to open the chamber and 23)unleash the horror within and, by so doing, 24)purge the school of all those who, in Slytherin\'s view, were unworthy to study magic.
Hermione: Muggle-borns.
Professor McGonagall: Well, naturally, the school has been searched many times. No such chamber has been found.
Hermione: Professor, What exactly does legend tell us lies within the chamber?
Professor McGonagall: Well, the chamber is said to be home to something that only the heir of Slytherin can control. It is said to be the home of a 25)monster.
(Scene 6: An unordinary diary provides the clues for Harry and his friends to the chamber where Harry sees the deadly Ginny and Tom Marvolo Riddle, the diary\'s owner. Tom then tells Harry his secrets.)
Harry: Ginny! Oh, Ginny, please don\'t be dead! Wake up! Wake up! Please wake up.
Tom: She won\'t wake.
Harry: Tom!? Tom Riddle!? What do you mean she won’t wake?
Tom: She\'s not. She\'s still alive. But only just.
Harry: Are you the ghost?
Tom: Her memory preserved in a diary for fifty years.
Harry: She\'s cold as ice! Oh Ginny. Please don\'t be dead. Wake up. You\'ve got to help me, Tom. This basilisk....
Tom: It won\'t come until it\'s called.
(Picking up Harry\'s wand on the ground.)
Harry: (Vigilantly) Give me my 26)wand, Tom.
Tom: You won\'t be needing it.
Harry: Listen, we\'ve got to go. We\'ve got to save her!
Tom: I\'m afraid I can\'t do that, Harry. You see, as poor Ginny grows weaker, I grow stronger. Yes, Harry, it was Ginny Weasley who opened the chamber of secrets.
Harry: No, she couldn\'t. She wouldn\'t.
Tom: It was Ginny who set the basilisk on the 27)mudbloods and Filcher\'s cat. It was Ginny who wrote the threatening messages on the walls.
Harry: Why?
Tom: Because I told her to. You\'ll find I can be very... 28)persuasive. Not if Ginny knew what she was doing. She was, shall we say, in a kind of trance. Still the power of the diary began to scare her and she tried to 29)dispose of it in the girl\'s bathroom. And then, who should find it, but you... the very person I was most anxious to meet.
Harry: Why did you want to meet me?
Tom: I knew I had to talk to you; meet you if I could. So I decided to show you my capture of that 30)brainless old Hagrid to gain your trust.
Harry: Hagrid\'s my friend. And you 31)framed him, didn\'t you?
Tom: It was my word against Hagrid\'s. Only Dumbledor seemed to think he was innocent.
Harry: I bet Dumbledor saw right through you.
Tom: He certainly kept an annoyingly close watch on me after that. I knew it wouldn\'t be safe to open the chamber again when I was still at school, so I decided to leave behind a diary, preserving my sixteen year old self in its pages, so that one day I would be able to lead another to finish Salazar Slytherin\'s noble work.
Harry: Well, you haven\'t finished it this time. In a few hours, the 32)mandrake draft\'ll be ready and everyone who\'s 33)petrified will be alright together.
Tom: Haven\'t I told you? Killing mudbloods doesn\'t matter to me anymore. For many months now, my new target... has been you. How is it that a baby with no extraordinary magical talent was able to defeat the greatest wizard of all time? How did you escape with nothing but a scar, while Lord Voldemort\'s powers were destroyed?
Harry: Why do you care how I escaped? Voldemort was after your time.
Tom: Voldemort is my past, present and future!

哈利：你是谁？
多比：我是多比，先生。家养小精灵多比。
哈利：我不想无礼，可现在不该是我卧室里有家养小精灵的时候。
多比：噢，噢，是的，先生。多比明白。不过多比是来告诉你……真难开口啊，先生……多比不知道该从哪里说起。
哈利：你坐下说。
多比：（受宠若惊）坐下？坐……坐下？（悲嚎）呜呜呜！呜呜呜！

小马尔福：哟，波特，你找了女朋友啦！
卢修斯·马尔福：儿子，亲切点。（对哈利说）你是波特先生？（自我介绍）我是卢修斯·马尔福。终于会面了。请原谅，你这道传奇色彩的伤疤，当然是拜那位巫师所赐了。
哈利：伏地魔杀害了我的父母。他不过是个刽子手！
卢修斯·马尔福：唔。你竟敢提他的名字，一定很勇敢，不然就是很蠢。
赫敏：惧怕一个名字只会增加对它本身的恐惧。
卢修斯·马尔福：你一定是格兰杰小姐了。对了，我儿子跟我提起过你，还有你的父母……他们都是麻瓜，对不对？（对罗恩说）我瞧瞧。红发、茫然、破烂的二手书……你一定是韦斯莱家的人吧。
亚瑟·韦斯莱：孩子们！不是这边！是那边！

小马尔福：（对哈利说）学校见。
（场景四：罗恩的妈妈让猫头鹰送来一封吼叫信。）

罗恩：噢，不是吧！
小马尔福：大家看看。韦斯莱收到一封吼叫信！
科林：罗恩，打开看吧，有回爷爷来了一封，我没看，后果不堪设想。
吼叫信：（韦斯莱太太吼道）淘气的韦斯莱！你竟敢偷车开！我对此表示强烈愤慨！你爸爸现在正接受单位的调查，这完全是你造成的！你再犯一次规，我们就把你带回家！（柔声地）噢，金妮，宝贝。祝贺你进了格兰芬多学院。你爸爸和我都感到非常骄傲！
（罗恩目瞪口呆地坐着，吼叫信自动撕成碎片。）
（场景五：怪事开始在霍格沃兹发生。有人被石化了，原因不详。同学们听到了关于密室的故事。）
麦格教授：什么事，格兰杰小姐？
赫敏：教授，你能不能给我们说说……密室？
麦格教授：好。你们当然都已经知道了，霍格沃茨是在一千多年前由当时四名伟大的巫师共同建立起来的--戈德里·格兰芬多、赫尔加·赫奇帕奇、罗温纳·拉文克劳、萨拉撒·斯莱特林。其中三名创建者相处得很融洽。另一个却不。
罗恩：猜猜那是谁吧。
麦格教授：萨拉撒·斯莱特林想让霍格沃茨入学的学生更精挑细选些。他相信魔法应该只传授给魔法家族，也就是说，纯粹巫师血统的人。由于说服不了大家，他决意离开学校。根据传闻，斯莱特林在城堡里修了一所暗室，也就是大家听说的密室。可是在离校前不久，他封了这间密室，直到他真正的传人返回学校，密室才会重新开启。这位传人可以独自打开密室，把里面的可怕的东西释放出来，这么一来，清除学校里在斯莱特林看来不配学习魔法的人。
赫敏：麻瓜出身的人。
麦格教授：当然了，学校里已经搜查了许多遍。并没有发现这样的密室。
赫敏：教授，传闻到底说密室里藏着什么？
麦格教授：据说，密室中的东西只有斯莱特林的传人才能操控。据说密室是一只怪兽的老穴。
（场景六：通过一个异乎寻常的日记本，哈利和朋友们找到了通往密室的线索。在密室中，哈利找到昏迷不醒的金妮，也看到了汤姆·马沃罗·里德尔--日记本的主人。接着汤姆说出了他的秘密。）
哈利：金妮！哦，金妮，别死啊！醒一醒！求你醒一醒。
汤姆：她不会醒了。
哈利：汤姆！？汤姆·里德尔！？你是什么意思？
汤姆：她不会醒的。她还活着。但活不久了。
哈利：你是鬼魂吗？
汤姆：她的记忆在日记中保存了五十年。
